Devil's Dyke and Nomansland Trail

Introduction
Walk through the impressive Devil's Dyke, an ancient defensive eartworks from Celtic times. Stroll though the beautiful meadows of the Marshalls Heath nature reserve and the pretty woodlands bordering Nomansland Common.     Download printable map (in PDF format)

To begin: Turn left of of the East Lane car park and follow Meads Lane about 200 yards to the open space by the river. Cross the river using the footbridge then turn right and follow the path.

Distance: 4.6 miles

Refreshments available: Wicked Lady, Nomansland Common; Elephant and Castle, Amwell and Village centre.
